My work as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a certified WERQ Dance Fitness instructor has shown me the many ways people seek connection, relief, and presence, often across separate spaces. In mental health settings, I’ve seen how awareness and understanding can open the door to healing, yet many people still feel disconnected from their bodies or isolated in the process. In movement spaces, I’ve witnessed how shared, joyful movement can quickly dissolve barriers and create a sense of belonging without requiring words.

This workshop series grew from a desire to bring those experiences together. Rather than asking people to carve out additional time for separate forms of care, this offering creates a shared space where movement, learning, and community happen side by side. Grounded in my professional training and lived experience, the series centers on increasing mind–body awareness, fostering connection, and making movement feel accessible and welcoming. The focus is not on changing who you are, but on creating opportunities to notice, reconnect, and move alongside others in a supportive environment.

Service Provided
At this time, my practice is dedicated exclusively to offering workshop series rather than individual/group therapy. This format allows me to create accessible, community-centered spaces that focus on education, movement, and connection. Workshops offer an opportunity to support well-being in a way that complements, but does not replace, therapy, and are designed for those seeking tools, embodied experiences, and shared connection outside of a traditional clinical setting.

My mission is to cultivate a supportive, collaborative environment that prioritizes connection, embodied awareness, and community. At RIC, the focus is not on fixing or striving for perfection, but on creating space to notice, reconnect, and engage more fully with yourself and others. Through shared experiences, movement, and reflection, RIC invites increased awareness and presence as essential components of well-being.
